National Chiao Tung University offers scholarships for outstanding international students with excellent academic and research records to study at the university and to promote internationalization. Eligibility Criteria for the National Chiao Tung University Scholarships
To qualify for the NCTU Scholarship, the candidate must fulfill all of the following requirements:

- Students must have their bachelor’s degree/transcript (16 years of education) at the time of application for master’s degree applications.
- Applicants must have their master’s degree/transcript (18 years of education) at the time of application for a PhD degree.
- Applicants must have an outstanding academic record.
- Must have a strong interest in studying/research in Taiwan
- Students will be preferred if they have extracurricular achievements, community engagement, social responsibility, and leadership skills.
- Students must be able to demonstrate their English proficiency skills (if you have an English proficiency letter from your previous institution, it will be acceptable)
