The Taylor’s University Scholarship 2027, officially known as the Taylor’s Research Excellence Scholarship, supports international students pursuing full-time master’s by research and PhD programmes at Taylor’s University in Malaysia. Depending on the scholarship scheme, recipients receive a 100% tuition fee waiver and a monthly stipend of up to RM3,200 for PhD study or RM1,500 for a master’s by research, while the most competitive doctoral schemes also provide a conference allowance of up to RM3,000. Unlike Taylor’s postgraduate taught scholarships, which generally offer partial tuition reductions, this scholarship is intended for research students and selection is based on academic performance, the quality of the research proposal, supporting achievements and an interview. In this article, we have explained everything you need to know about the Taylor’s University Scholarship, including its benefits, eligibility criteria, required documents, and a step-by-step application process to help you apply successfully.
The scholarship is offered through several funding levels. Scheme A Plus and Scheme A are available only for PhD applicants, while Scheme B supports both PhD and master’s by research students. This article focuses on these fully funded options and does not include Scheme C because Scheme C provides a full tuition waiver but no monthly living stipend.
