The International Undergraduate Scholarship (IUGS) was established in 2020 to support academically proven International Students who have not previously studied at Lincoln University.

Lincoln University Undergraduate Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship

The scholarship was established to support and reward international students of the highest academic ability in further study at Lincoln University.

180-credit Taught Master Merit Scholarship

Qualifying international students will be awarded with a scholarship of NZ$7,000 or NZ$10,000 towards the overall cost of their study in one of the 180 credit taught master’s programmes.

    • Up to 10 scholarships valued at NZ$10,000 each are available, and are payable by way of a credit to the recipients’ Lincoln University Tuition Fees account, upon confirmation of enrolment in one of Lincoln University’s undergraduate bachelor programs.
  • Lincoln University International Undergraduate Scholarship
    • Up to 10 scholarships valued at NZ$3,000 each are available and are payable by way of a credit to the recipients’Lincoln University Tuition Fees account, upon confirmation of enrolment in one of Lincoln University’s undergraduate programs
  • Lincoln University Undergraduate Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship
    • Scholarships to the value of NZ$5,000 are available and are payable by way of a credit to the recipients’ Lincoln University Tuition Fees account upon confirmed enrolment.
  • 180-credit Taught Master Merit Scholarship
    • Qualifying international students will be awarded with a scholarship of NZ$7,000 or NZ$10,000 towards the overall cost of their study in one of the 180-credit taught master’s programs.

Eligibility Criteria for Lincoln University Scholarships

To qualify for Lincoln University Scholarships, candidate must fulfill all of the following requirements below:

  • Required Language: English.
  • Eligible Countries: All world countries.
  • Lincoln University International School Leavers Scholarship
    • Be a new-to-programme Lincoln University International Student who is registered or planning to register, in an undergraduate bachelor programme,
    • Be a school leaver from a New Zealand High School or from an overseas high school
    • Not be in receipt of any other scholarship, and
    • Meet all necessary immigration requirements to study in New Zealand, and
    • Meet all academic and English language requirements for admission.
  • Lincoln University International Undergraduate Scholarship
    • Be a new-to-programme Lincoln University International Student who is registered or planning to register, in an undergraduate programme in the 2021 academic year,
    • Not be in receipt of any other scholarship, and
    • Meet all necessary immigration requirements to study in New Zealand, and
    • Meet all academic and English language requirements for admission.
  • Lincoln University Undergraduate Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship
    • Be an International student who has not previously studied in an academic programme at Lincoln University, and
    • Meet the academic and English language requirements for admission to their chosen programme at Lincoln University, and
    • Meet all necessary immigration requirements to study in New Zealand, and
    • Not hold any other scholarship.
  • 180-credit Taught Master Merit Scholarship
    • Students must have a GPA of at least B+ average in the last year of their bachelor’s degree to meet the requirements.
