Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust scholarship
Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust scholarship invite applications from international students who want to pursue doctoral or postdoctoral research at University of Kent, UK for academic year 2020-2021. Global Diversity Scholarship will provide one-time award ranges from $2,000-$5,000 will be distributed to awardees who have been awarded Global Diversity Scholarship.

This scholarship is open to Kent & Medway Medical School (KMMS) applicants only. This scholarship has been generously funded by the Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust (KMPT). The Trust provides mental health services across the county of Kent, and the award is intended to support a candidate with a demonstrated interest and aptitude in mental health.

Scholarship Coverage
Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust scholarship will cover full fees (currently £9,250 per year) for the full 5 years of the course (£46,250 total).
Also Apply for Fully Funded MEXT Scholarship where Knowledge of Japanese Language and IELTS/TOEFL is not mandatory for this scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust scholarship, candidate must fulfill all of the following requirements below:
- Required Language: English.
- Eligible Countries: All world countries
- Have accepted an unconditional or firmly accepted a conditional offer from the Kent and Medway Medical School.
- Be currently taking Psychology A level or degree, or significant work in mental health care.
- Be the first person in the family to go to university.
- Be able to provide evidence of financial hardship.
- Be able to provide evidence of ongoing commitment to benefit mental illness, such as volunteering, work experience and charitable activities, preferably in Kent.

- A 500 word statement titled ‘Why I am suitable for the Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust scholarship’
- Letters of support from (at least one of) social worker, teacher, doctor, minister of religion
- Written confirmation of benefit award/tax credit notice, in the name of the student (vulnerable or discretionary) or parent (discretionary)
- Documents to support financial status; such as SLC statements, 16-19 Bursary, UCAT bursary, benefits statement
- Documents to support involvement in Psychology A level or involvement in mental health work and activities to benefit mental illness
